Aaron Vernon is an entrepreneur helping to build a startup AWS consulting firm one sale at a time. He is originally from Washington, D.C., U.S.A., and spent the beginning years of his professional career in South Bend, Indiana where he supported a number of startups and actively contributed to an emerging regional entrepreneurial ecosystem. In 2020, he traveled to Ghana for the first time and grew a strong appreciation for the country during his visit. Now, he is an active investor in Chief Gold and Co-Founder of a company he started with Holden Lombard in 2021.

Aaron was employee hire 24 for a startup in the city of South Bend, Trek10, globally known for its Amazon Web Services expertise – and has led or contributed to formation and growth of Sales, Innovation, Government Contracting, Human Resources, Accounting, and Marketing initiatives as the company is crossing 100 employees four years later without utilizing an investment round.

Currently, Aaron resides primarily in his home town in Maryland, working from home. He takes occasional trips to Chicago, Los Angeles, Indiana, Jamaica, and Ghana as necessary for work or play.

Mr. Hassan AI Deik has over 20 years’ experience in the physical Gold trading business in the Middle East and Africa. He examines trends in the precious metals market with a view to greater accuracy in formulating trading and purchasing strategies for the company. He has a unique capability to develop and maintain clients within the precious metals sector. He determines the risk of purchase/or sale of precious metals based on current market conditions. His ability to interpret the marketplace and overall economic conditions on a real-time basis has had a positive impact on the growth of the company.

Master Makeda Meeryawn Sheba Israel is an expat reining from Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. She has been residing in Africa for 13yrs now (11yrs in Accra, Ghana, 2yrs in Lusaka, Zambia).

Recently she obtained her dual citizenship in 2019. She holds an BS with a concentration in Management As well as holding a MBA. She has 20 years’ experience working in corporate America as well as 18yrs experience being a phenomenal International CEO and entrepreneur.

Coupled with being an certified Luxury Realtor here in Ghana, she is a dynamic professional with extensive experience supporting office operations seasoned in providing exceptional customer service to a diverse range of clientele. Proven track record of efficiently managing multiple individuals, priorities and deadlines simultaneously. Performance-driven professional with strong business acumen, strategic thinking and highly motivated to leverage experience and grow both professionally and personally within your organization.

Stephen Ampong is Chief Gold’s Ghana’s Chief of Security and our Lead for Team Mining Expeditions. Steve is also one of the Founding members of the Chief Gold Foundation.
Steve’s background includes over 6 years working in the African gold industry and 10 years as the head accountant for a top Ghanaian beach resort and a well-known ex-pat restaurant/bar chain in Accra.
He graduated from the University of Ghana Business School with majors in Business Management and Accounting.
