David Green is the Director of Refining and Compliance Officer for Chief Gold.

In his role, he oversees relations with global refineries for ore to dore refining, and for dore to bullion (99.6% pure) refining for sale to our clients. As the Compliance Officer, he ensures our clients’ gold meets requirements for export from Ghana to global markets meeting regulations such as the US Patriot Act and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) laws in China and the EU so the gold is 100% complaint globally for the jewelry industry, electronics industries, and clients.

Before Chief Gold, David started his career as a US Army Officer serving in the 82nd Airborne, 2nd Ranger Battalion, JTF Bravo, and the Army Dismounted Battle Laboratory. After serving at the Army Battle Laboratory, he was honorably discharged to earn a Master’s in Computer Science while working for Stanford Research Institute (SRI International) full time. David left SRI as a Site Manager/Director and has since held Director level or Vice President jobs at Command Information, QinetiQ North America, and Aria Gems.
